Do you ever wonder why God has been so good to you? St. Paul provides us with an answer. We are called to share our abundance. God has entrusted blessings to us so that we in turn can share with others. Sharing in this way can be a joyful and rewarding experience since we see our giving as part of God's great plan.

We are pleased to report that the 2008 Annual Bishop's Appeal is being well received and generously supported by our Diocesan Family. To date, we as the Catholic Church in eastern Connecticut have raised $2,840,033, which represents 84% of our goal of $3,400,000.00 We are most grateful to those parishioners who have already made their commitment to the year's campaign . This is indeed a wonderful example of your stewardship and willingness to reach out to others. If you have not yet had the opportunity to respond as yet, please make an effort to do so. Your support is vital to our Diocesan mission to be Jesus' heart of mercy, voice of hope and hands of justice. Without your help this work would not continue. Please be generous. Thank you.
